A Lawyer's Office - traditional yet up-to-date


The law-firm was founded in 1948 by Dr. Anton Dick, the father of the present partners. After having completed his legal education, amongst others at the office of his father-in-law, Dr.Rolf Trummer in Graz (Styria), who also was a member of the Constitutional Court, Anton Dick moved to Salzburg.

The current offices are located in Imbergstrasse - right in the centre of Salzburg on the banks of the Salzach – and date back to 1954. The office is among the oldest still existing law firms in the city of Salzburg and has numerous renowned companies  and people as its clientele.

Dr. Norman Dick took up his work in 1972 and has been a partner since 1978.
Dr. Anton Dick retired in 1984.


Dr. Michael Dyck has been working at the office since 1980 and became a
partner in 1985.

Dick and Dyck  - a coincidence?  A spelling mistake?
Despite the varied spelling of their names, Norman and Michael are brothers.
Unlike his elder brother, Michael decided on (to take on) the historic
spelling of the surname, which developed from Dyck, via Dück, to Dick.
